Maine High School Basketball - Caribou overwhelms Presque Isle
January 3, 2024: Presque Isle, ME 04769 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Caribou Vikings (Caribou, ME) and the host Presque Isle Wildcats (Presque Isle, ME), saw Caribou's basketball squad wallop Presque Isle by a tally of 58-25.
With the victory, Caribou improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Orono (Orono, ME) to confront the Riots in a B North challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Riots come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Orono won 81-34 in their recent league challenge against Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME) in a B North challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Presque Isle will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 55-34 non-league win over Woodland (Baileyville, ME).
