South Dakota High School Basketball - Vermillion crushes Tri-Valley
January 3, 2025: Colton, SD 57018 The Vermillion Tanagers (Vermillion, SD) basketball crushed the host Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD), 84-56 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Tanagers now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pine Ridge for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. Vermillion will play a Thorpes team coming off a 61-60 non-league loss to Lennox (Lennox, SD). The Thorpes record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Tri-Valley falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD) to play the Elks in a non-league bout on Monday, January 6. The Elks go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Elkton/Lake Benton won 57-43 in their recent non-league bout against Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD)
