Minnesota High School Basketball - Cotter tops Lewiston-Altura
January 6, 2023: Winona, MN 55987 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cotter Ramblers (Winona, MN) and the visiting Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN), saw Cotter's basketball squad knock off Lewiston-Altura by a count of 58-43.
With the victory, Cotter upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Ramblers travel to St. Charles (St. Charles, MN) to play the Fighting Saints in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Fighting Saints come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. St. Charles lost 62-51 in their recent league challenge against Lourdes (Rochester, MN)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Fillmore Central Falcons (Harmony, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Lewiston-Altura will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 79-53 non-league win over Houston (Houston, MN).
