Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mount Union can't hold off Juniata Valley
January 6, 2023: Mount Union, PA 17066 The Juniata Valley Hornets basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Mount Union Trojans to 67 in the Hornets league victory on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glendale for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Juniata Valley will battle a Vikings team coming off a 56-26 league win over Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-6.
The Trojans (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, PA). The Blue Pirates enter the Inter County - North match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Williamsburg nudged Curwensville (Curwensville, PA), 61-45, in a league match.
