The Wilmington Wildcats basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Lisle Lions to 46 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grant Park for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Wilmington will battle a Dragons team coming off a 61-56 league win over Momence (Momence, IL). The Dragons record now stands at 9-5.

The Lions (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL). The Hilltoppers enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Joliet Catholic nudged Carmel (Mundelein, IL), 60-48, in a league contest.
