Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Calumet New Tech Warriors (Gary, IN) and the visiting River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN), saw Calumet New Tech's basketball squad overcome River Forest by a tally of 56-48.

With the victory, Calumet New Tech improves its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN) to confront the Fighting Eagles in a Greater South Shore challenge on Friday, January 12. The Fighting Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Lake Station Edison lost 56-36 in their recent league challenge against Whiting (Whiting, IN)

Next up, the Ingots confront the Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors (Hammond, IN) in a Greater South Shore challenge, on Friday, January 12. River Forest will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 70-65 non-league win over Andrean (Merrillville, IN).
