Virginia High School Basketball - Potomac School overwhelms Saint James

January 9, 2025: McLean, VA 22101

The Potomac School Panthers basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Saint James Saints to 44 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now have a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Episcopal for a Interstate Athletic game on Saturday, January 11. Potomac School will confront a Maroon team coming off a 99-66 non-league win over Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA). The Maroon record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Saint James falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Landon (Bethesda, MD) to confront the Bears in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Bears go into the game with a record of 5-6. Landon won 55-45 in their recent non-league game against Sandy Spring Friends (Sandy Spring, MD)
