The Andrean Fighting 59ers defeated the visiting Morgan Township Cherokees basketball squad by a final score of 49-33 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Fighting 59ers clash with the Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) in a Northwest Crossroads outing, on Saturday, January 11. Andrean will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Red Devils come into the outing with a 10-5 record after their 56-32 league win over Highland (Highland, IN).

The Cherokees (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN). The Senators come into the Porter County outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Washington Township overcame Tri-Township (LaCrosse, IN), 37-33, in a league outing.
