The Boone Grove Wolves nipped the host Morgan Township Cherokees basketball squad by a final score of 58-56 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Wolves face the South Central Satellites (Union Mills, IN) in a Porter County outing, on Friday, January 17. Boone Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Satellites enter the outing with a 5-6 record after their 61-58 league loss to Hebron (Hebron, IN).

The Cherokees (2-9) will now prepare for their outing against Tri-Township (LaCrosse, IN). The Tigers enter the Porter County outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, Tri-Township was nipped by Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN), 65-35, in a league outing.
