North Carolina High School Basketball - Hough knocked off by Mallard Creek

The Mallard Creek Mavericks basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Hough Huskies to 47 in the Mavericks league triumph on Thursday.

The Mavericks now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chambers for a 3A/4A Queen City contest on Friday, January 19.

The Huskies (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Harding University (Charlotte, NC). The Rams enter the 3A/4A Queen City contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Harding University was outscored by Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC), 82-72, in a league contest.
