The South Point Red Raiders basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Ashbrook Greenwave to 66 in the Red Raiders league triumph on Friday.

The Red Raiders now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Gaston for a 3A Conference 50 contest on Tuesday, January 17. South Point will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 63-45 league loss to Huss (Gastonia, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-14.

The Greenwave (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Huss (Gastonia, NC). The Huskies enter the 3A Conference 50 contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Huss ran past North Gaston (Dallas, NC), 63-45, in a league contest.
