The North Gaston Wildcats tipped the host Ashbrook Greenwave basketball team by a final score of 58-54 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) in a 3A Conference 50 game, on Friday, February 3. North Gaston will attempt to move on its 4-17 season record. The Chargers enter the game with a 15-5 record after their 79-64 league loss to South Point (Belmont, NC).

With the defeat, Ashbrook moves to 3-18 on the year. The Greenwave travel to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to face the Storm in a 3A Conference 50 game on Friday, February 3.
