In Friday's league match, the host North Gaston Wildcats basketball team scored a good 85-66 triumph over the Crest Chargers.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) in a 3A Conference 50 match, on Tuesday, February 7. North Gaston will attempt to better on its 5-17 season record. The Huskies enter the match with a 13-8 record after their 80-60 league win over Forestview (Gastonia, NC).
