The Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) basketball knocked off the host South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC), 79-68 in Friday's league test.

The Chargers (11-2) will now prepare for their test against North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Wildcats go into the 3A Conference 50 contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, North Gaston was defeated by Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC), 63-48, in a league contest.

The Red Raiders (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers come into the 3A Conference 50 contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Kings Mountain prevailed over Forestview (Gastonia, NC), 66-54, in a league contest.
