Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) and the visiting North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), saw Crest's basketball squad overcome North Gaston by a tally of 81-64.

With the victory, Crest improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Forestview (Gastonia, NC) to play the Jaguars in a 3A Conference 50 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Forestview lost 84-56 in their recent league challenge against Huss (Gastonia, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) in a 3A Conference 50 challenge, on Friday, January 13. North Gaston will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 84-56 league win over Forestview (Gastonia, NC).
