The Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC), 56-50 in Tuesday's league test.

The Chargers (16-6) will now prepare for their test against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers go into the 3A Conference 50 test with a 13-10 record. In their last test, Kings Mountain was tipped by Cox Mill (Concord, NC), 85-50, in a non-league test.

The Jaguars now own a 8-14 record. They play next when they travel to Stuart W. Cramer for a 3A Conference 50 test on Friday, February 10. Forestview will encounter a Storm squad coming off a 59-49 league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Storm record now stands at 8-15.
