Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) and the visiting Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC), saw Ashbrook's basketball squad overcome Crest by a tally of 67-57.

With the victory, Ashbrook improves its record to 2-16 on the campaign. The Greenwave host Forestview (Gastonia, NC) to confront the Jaguars in a 3A Conference 50 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Forestview won 74-71 in their recent league challenge against North Gaston (Dallas, NC)

Next up, the Chargers confront the Stuart W. Cramer Storm (Belmont, NC) in a 3A Conference 50 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Crest will attempt to improve on its 14-4 season record. The Storm come into the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 72-52 league loss to South Point (Belmont, NC).
