Maryland High School Basketball - Chopticon falls to St. Charles

January 13, 2023: Morganza, MD 20660

In Friday's league match, the visiting St. Charles basketball team scored a good 74-61 triumph over the Chopticon Braves.

In their next game, the meet the Centreville Wildcats (Clifton, VA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 14. St. Charles will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 1-9 record after their 55-52 league loss to James Madison (Vienna, VA).

With the defeat, Chopticon moves to 10-2 on the year. The Braves travel to La Plata (La Plata, MD) to meet the Warriors in a Southern Maryland match on Wednesday, January 18. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 6-3. La Plata won 76-68 in their recent league match against Lackey (Indian Head, MD)
