Maryland High School Basketball - Manchester Valley overwhelms Francis Scott Key
January 14, 2025: Union Bridge, MD 21791 The Manchester Valley Mavericks basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Francis Scott Key Eagles to 27 in the Mavericks league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mavericks now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Century for a Carroll County game on Friday, January 17. Manchester Valley will confront a Knights team coming off a 47-29 league loss to Westminster (Westminster, MD). The Knights record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Francis Scott Key falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to South Carroll (Sykesville, MD) to confront the Cavaliers in a Carroll County game on Thursday, January 16. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 5-4. South Carroll won 43-22 in their recent league game against Liberty (Sykesville, MD)
