The Carson Cougars bounced the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans basketball squad by a final score of 67-46 in Thursday's league outing.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont outing, on Friday, January 17. Carson will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 4-8 record after their 78-27 league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC).
