In Friday's league test, the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC), by a score of 67-33.

Next, the Trojans encounter the Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont test, on Tuesday, January 7. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 11-2 record after their 54-53 league win over Concord (Concord, NC).

With the loss, West Rowan falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Falcons host Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to confront the Vikings in a 3A South Piedmont game on Tuesday, January 7.
