North Carolina High School Basketball - Lake Norman Charter can't hold off West Rowan

West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) backers went home pleased Wednesday as they observed their basketball team edge the host Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), 74-69 in a league challenge.

The Falcons (7-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings come into the 3A South Piedmont challenge with a 11-10 record. In their last challenge, Central Cabarrus edged Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC), 79-69, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights battle the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont challenge, on Friday, February 7. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to better on its 6-12 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-18 record after their 66-47 league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC).
