Washington High School Basketball - Nooksack Valley crushes Meridian
January 17, 2023: Everson, WA 98247 Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA), 69-22 in a league game.
In their next game, the Pioneers face the Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game, on Thursday, January 19. Nooksack Valley will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Mountaineers enter the game with a 1-7 record after their 40-35 league win over Blaine (Blaine, WA).
With the defeat, Meridian moves to 2-6 on the year. The Trojans travel to Sultan (Sultan, WA) to face the Turks in a non-league game on Thursday, January 19. The Turks enter the game with a record of 4-3. Sultan won 62-57 in their recent league game against Seattle Academy (Seattle, WA)
