North Carolina High School Basketball - Lake Norman Charter trounced by Central Cabarrus

The Central Cabarrus Vikings routed the host Lake Norman Charter Knights basketball team by a final score of 87-41 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Vikings face the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont game, on Friday, January 19. Central Cabarrus will attempt to move on its 16-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 2-12 record after their 99-54 league loss to Concord (Concord, NC).

With the defeat, Lake Norman Charter moves to 7-8 on the year. The Knights host West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to face the Falcons in a 3A South Piedmont game on Friday, January 19. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 6-7. West Rowan lost 71-63 in their recent league game against Robinson (Concord, NC)
