Washington, DC High School Basketball - St. John's nudges Our Lady of Good Counsel

January 18, 2024: Washington, DC 20015

In Thursday's league outing, the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) basketball squad nipped the visiting Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD), by a margin of 65-62.

The Cadets (15-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA). The Knights go into the VISAA Division I outing with a 14-3 record. In their last outing, Bishop O'Connell got by Cardinal Ritter College Prep (St. Louis, MO), 63-54, in a non-league outing.

The Falcons now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Sandy Spring Friends for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 20. Our Lady of Good Counsel will clash with a Wildebeests squad coming off a 67-32 league win over McLean (Potomac, MD). The Wildebeests record now stands at 13-5.
