Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC), 68-62 in a league bout.

With the win, Bishop McNamara upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Mustangs host Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA) to play the Knights in a VISAA Division I bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 15-5. Bishop O'Connell lost 60-57 in their recent league bout against St. John's (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Cadets play the Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) in a VISAA Division I bout, on Monday, January 29. St. John's will attempt to upgrade on its 16-4 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 15-4 record after their 68-52 league loss to Paul VI (Chantilly, VA).
