Washington, DC High School Basketball - Archbishop Carroll can't hold off Bishop McNamara
January 11, 2024: Washington, DC 20017 The Archbishop Carroll Lions basketball team (Washington, DC), was nudged 70-66 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD)
The Mustangs now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Immaculate Conception for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 13. Bishop McNamara will battle a Lions team coming off a 87-39 league win over Central (Newark, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 6-3.
The Lions (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Patriot (Nokesville, VA). The Pioneers come into the non-league battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Patriot edged Gainesville (Gainesville, VA), 63-38, in a league battle.
