Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD), 87-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bishop O'Connell upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Knights host Paul VI (Chantilly, VA) to clash with the Panthers in a VISAA Division I bout on Friday, January 26. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 16-2. Paul VI won 73-58 in their recent league bout against Gonzaga (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Our Lady of Good Counsel will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 81-47 league win over The Heights (Potomac, MD).
