The Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) basketball knocked off the host Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE), 59-48 in Friday's league test.

The Thunderbolts (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE). The SkyHawks go into the non-league test with a 14-0 record. In their last test, Skutt Catholic notched a victory over South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE), 89-57, in a league test.

The Islanders now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Norfolk for a A District TBD test on Friday, January 27.
