West Virginia High School Basketball - South Charleston over Parkersburg
January 20, 2023: South Charleston, WV 25309 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) and the visiting Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV), saw South Charleston's basketball squad overcome Parkersburg by a tally of 63-47.
With the victory, South Charleston improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Black Eagles host George Washington (Charleston, WV) to confront the Patriots in a Mountain State challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 12-0. George Washington won 63-25 in their recent league challenge against Riverside (Belle, WV)
Next up, the Big Reds confront the Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Parkersburg will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Cadets come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 60-44 non-league win over University (Morgantown, WV).
