January 20, 2023: Walpole, MA 02081 The Walpole Timberwolves (Walpole, MA) basketball knocked off the visiting Wellesley Raiders (Wellesley, MA), 76-68 in Friday's league test.
The Timberwolves (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Brookline (Brookline, MA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Brookline notched a victory over Braintree (Braintree, MA), 70-51, in a non-league test.
The Raiders now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Milton for a Bay State - Herget test on Tuesday, January 24. Wellesley will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 47-43 non-league loss to Framingham (Framingham, MA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-10.
