The Ansonia Tigers basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks to 29 in the Tigers league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin Monroe for a Western Ohio contest on Friday, January 27. Ansonia will meet a Jets team coming off a 52-21 league loss to Arcanum (Arcanum, OH). The Jets record now stands at 4-11.

The Blackhawks (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH). The Arrows enter the Western Ohio contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Preble Shawnee triumphed over Legacy Christian Academy (Xenia, OH), 68-33, in a non-league contest.
