The Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers basketball squad (Washington, DC), was crushed 77-52 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA)

With the victory, Potomac School advances its record to 8-9 on the year. The Panthers travel to Flint Hill (Oakton, VA) to meet the Huskies in a Mid-Atlantic battle on Saturday, January 25. The Huskies enter the battle with a record of 8-8. Flint Hill lost 68-65 in their recent league battle against Benedictine (Richmond, VA)

The Mighty Hoppers now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saint James for a Mid-Atlantic battle on Friday, January 24. Georgetown Day will meet a Saints squad coming off a 63-48 league loss to Maret (Washington, DC). The Saints record now stands at 4-13.
