Mt. Enterprise Wildcats (Mt. Enterprise, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Carlisle Indians (Price, TX), 57-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Mt. Enterprise upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Wildcats travel to New Summerfield (New Summerfield, TX) to play the Hornets in a 2A Region III District 22 bout on Friday, January 26. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 4-21. New Summerfield lost 98-20 in their recent league bout against Alto (Alto, TX)

Next up, the Indians play the Cushing Bearkats (Cushing, TX) in a 2A Region III District 22 bout, on Friday, January 26. Carlisle will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Bearkats go into the bout with a 15-11 record after their 65-56 league loss to Mt. Enterprise (Mt. Enterprise, TX).
