Texas High School Basketball - Cushing tops Carlisle
January 26, 2024: Cushing, TX 75760 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cushing Bearkats (Cushing, TX) and the visiting Carlisle Indians (Price, TX), saw Cushing's basketball squad knock off Carlisle by a count of 57-41.
With the victory, Cushing upgrades its record to 16-11 on the campaign. The Bearkats travel to New Summerfield (New Summerfield, TX) to play the Hornets in a 2A Region III District 22 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 4-22. New Summerfield lost 64-12 in their recent league challenge against Mt. Enterprise (Mt. Enterprise, TX)
Next up, the Indians play the New Summerfield Hornets (New Summerfield, TX) in a 2A Region III District 22 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Carlisle will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record.
