December 15, 2023: Cushing, TX 75760 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cushing Bearkats (Cushing, TX) and the visiting Broaddus Bulldogs (Broaddus, TX), saw Cushing's basketball squad overcome Broaddus by a tally of 52-40.
With the victory, Cushing improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Bearkats host Laneville (Laneville, TX) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 7-10. Laneville won 82-37 in their recent league challenge against Centerville (Groveton, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Chireno Owls (Chireno, TX) in a 2A Region III District 24 challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Broaddus will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record.
