January 2, 2024: Price, TX 75687 Cushing Bearkats (Cushing, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Carlisle Indians (Price, TX), 44-36 in a league bout.
With the win, Cushing upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Bearkats host New Summerfield (New Summerfield, TX) to play the Hornets in a 2A Region III District 22 bout on Friday, January 5. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 3-16. New Summerfield lost 69-22 in their recent league bout against Mt. Enterprise (Mt. Enterprise, TX)
