Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), 37-36 in a league match.

With the victory, Ardrey Kell advances its record to 11-2 on the year. The Knights travel to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC) to meet the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Friday, January 24. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 11-0. Cuthbertson won 57-17 in their recent non-league match against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC)
