The Harding University Rams basketball team (Charlotte, NC), was toppled 65-53 in Wednesday's league battle with the host West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC)

The Lions now possess a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mallard Creek for a 3A/4A Queen City battle on Friday, January 26. West Charlotte will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 92-75 league loss to Chambers (Charlotte, NC). The Mavericks record now stands at 5-11.

The Rams (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Titans come into the 3A/4A Queen City battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Hopewell was toppled by Lexington (Lexington, SC), 83-79, in a non-league battle.
