The South Charlotte Thunder (Matthews, NC) basketball were winner over the visiting Grace Academy Lions (Matthews, NC), 74-62 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Thunder now possess a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. South Charlotte will play a Knights team coming off a 50-45 league win over Statesville Christian (Statesville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Grace Academy falls to 16-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Lab University Prep Varsity (Charlotte, NC) to play the Kings in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. The Kings go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Lab University Prep Varsity won 79-70 in their recent non-league bout against Walnut Grove Christian (Fort Mill, SC)
