North Carolina High School Basketball - Richmond fells Pinecrest

January 30, 2024: Southern Pines, NC 28387

Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC), 83-68 in a league bout.

With the win, Richmond upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Raiders host Hoke County (Raeford, NC) to clash with the Bucks in a 3A/4A Sandhills bout on Friday, February 2. The Bucks go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Hoke County won 68-57 in their recent league bout against Lee County (Sanford, NC)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a 3A/4A Sandhills bout, on Friday, February 2. Pinecrest will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 17-2 record after their 69-51 league win over Scotland (Laurinburg, NC).
