The Pinecrest Patriots basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Union Pines Vikings to 51 in the Patriots league victory on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richmond for a 3A/4A Sandhills contest on Tuesday, January 30. Pinecrest will battle a Raiders team coming off a 77-67 league win over Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 14-5.
