The Fieldcrest Knights basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons to 73 in the Knights league victory on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 19-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midland for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 1. Fieldcrest will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 46-43 non-league win over Putnam County (Granville, IL). The Timberwolves record now stands at 19-5.

The Falcons (14-9) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgeview (Colfax, IL). The Mustangs come into the Heart of Illinois contest with a 8-18 record. In their last contest, Ridgeview edged Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL), 39-35, in a non-league contest.
