With the victory, Rio Rancho improves its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Hawks in a 5A District 1 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 19-1. Volcano Vista won 68-33 in their recent league challenge against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) in a 5A District 1 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Cibola will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Storm come into the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 102-98 league loss to Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
