January 27, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87114 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM), saw Valley's basketball squad wallop Cibola by a tally of 67-42.
With the victory, Valley improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Huskies in a 4A District 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Hope Christian lost 68-59 in their recent league challenge against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Cibola will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Ravens come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 66-54 league loss to Manzano (Albuquerque, NM).
