December 14, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87114 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), saw Cibola's basketball squad hold off Highland by a tally of 57-56.
With the victory, Cibola improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Organ Mountain won 58-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Highland will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 58-48 non-league loss to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM).
