Maryland High School Basketball - Lackey thwarted by Chopticon

The Lackey Chargers basketball team (Indian Head, MD), was toppled 62-50 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD)

The Braves now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McDonough for a Southern Maryland battle on Friday, February 3. Chopticon will confront a Rams team coming off a 61-54 league loss to Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD). The Rams record now stands at 14-3.

The Chargers (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Hornets enter the Southern Maryland contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Great Mills ran past Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD), 73-47, in a league contest.
