In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Twin Loup Wolves basketball team scored a close 53-47 win over the Sandhills Valley Mavericks.

The Wolves (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE). The Coyotes come into the non-league contest with a 6-10 record.
