South Dakota High School Basketball - Flandreau ripped by Sioux Valley
February 2, 2023: Flandreau, SD 57028 The Sioux Valley Cossacks basketball team scored 86 points and held the host Flandreau Fliers to 31 in the Cossacks league triumph on Thursday.
The Cossacks now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to More for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Sioux Valley will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 46-39 non-league win over Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 14-1.
The Fliers (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD). The Elks enter the A Region 2 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Elkton/Lake Benton was routed by DeSmet (DeSmet, SD), 80-63, in a non-league contest.
