February 2, 2024: Port Byron, IL 61275 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL) and the visiting Orion Chargers (Orion, IL), saw Riverdale's basketball squad overcome Orion by a tally of 76-64.
With the victory, Riverdale improves its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL) to confront the Panthers in a Three Rivers - West challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-15. Erie-Prophetstown lost 55-41 in their recent league challenge against Sherrard (Sherrard, IL)
Next up, the Chargers confront the Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Orion will attempt to improve on its 11-11 season record. The Maple Leafs come into the challenge with a 2-19 record after their 85-37 league loss to Rock Island (Rock Island, IL).
